Great White Shark
Guadalupe Island, Mexico
This was taken right as the sun was setting over Guadalupe. Great Whites hunt their prey visually. They cruise along the bottom relying on their coloring for camouflage. Once their prey is spotted they launch vertically towards their prey and ram into them while taking a bite. This usually will stun the animal for the Great Whites to feed on.
